The Hotel Fayal is situated on rising ground 8 minutes walk from the town centre and harbour. The original hotel consists of six three storey buildings around a central grassed court yard and a later extension is also three storeys but in one long modern building.

Central facilities include a first floor restaurant overlooking the distant harbour and the Island of Pico, a large bar on the ground floor, two tennis courts, swimming pool, gardens and discotheque (thoughtfully housed in a separate building some distance from the bulk of the hotel).

All rooms have TV, video channel, piped music, direct dial telephone, private bathroom and WC and most of those in the new wing have balconies.

Our opinion
A good resort hotel with good facilities and a pleasant ambience. We have a record of satisfied clients staying here and the staff are most helpful.
