The old Residencial Pico has been vastly extended and improved to form the Hotel Pico. We particularly liked the newer superior rooms which are spacious and have good views.

An outstanding complex focusing on peace, tranquillity, appreciation of the local fauna and flora and indeed of the sea. Guests can take advantage of the gardens which run right down to the sea, to appreciate both the calm waters lapping the rocks in the summer and the ferocious wave patterns of winter. Central heating and open fires encourage off-season occupation. Thoroughly recommended.

Not inexpensive but what extraordinary experience ever is? The surroundings, the black rock and the sea create a wild backdrop to this oasis of peace and tranquillity. One can swim in the pool or off the beach, walk the hinterland or even climb Pico itself! Only suitable for those who do not want nightlife and hoards of people!
