Situated in Santo Antonio this rural house has one small double (really a big single room) and three twin rooms, two of which have a separate entrance and all have bath or shower room en-suite.
The old kitchen has become the breakfast room and two large sitting rooms are at the disposal of the guests, the first with an amazing collection of knick knacks and the second complete with open fireplace and TV.
A never-ending supply of tea and biscuits is available to which the guests help themselves. The terrace outside the first sitting room is equipped with loungers and umbrellas and offers fine views over the countryside; horses are available for hire nearby and bicycles for rent on site.
Our
opinion
A simple manor house offering homeliness
rather than luxury. In the depths of the countryside, with plenty of
livestock including dogs, ducks, geese, pigeons etc., we particularly
liked the pool and the shaded patio overlooking it (which is part of the 2
bedroomed apartment). Delightful!
