This new and modern Hotel has 100 rooms all with sea or side sea view, two outdoor sea water swimming pools, one for adults, the other for children, a salt water Jacuzzi tub, hair and beauty salon, seaside terrace, a restaurant "Cozinha do Caracol" (with a la carte or buffet service), Snack Bar "Silveira", piano bar "Monte Brazil" and a Pool Bar. The Bar Monte Brazil has some sort of entertainment each Saturday and some other evenings. Access to the sea is available from a private pier. The Wellness Centre is extremely well organised and offers a large variety of treatments aimed at those who are stressed, elderly, with child , or simply need beauty treatment or a fitness regime. An indoor pool is heated to 35 degrees Centigrade and is used for health treatments. Below the pool deck is the Diving Centre with a full range of equipment for rental and instruction from a PADI certificated instructor. Instruction to obtain various levels of PADI certificate is available. Other facilities include a squash court, gymnasium, sauna, Jacuzzi and fitness room with machinery. An Instructor will create a tailor-made routine to suit each individual’s requirements, free of charge.

Our Opinion
The Hotel "has it’s back" to the prevailing wind and thus offers shelter to it’s 2 pools & sun decks. The proximity of the public access to the sea, the snack bar and raft is fun but can be a bit noisy so rooms on the other side of the Hotel are quieter. Paulo Araujo, who with his wife, who are both qualified Physiotherapists, run the Wellness Centre with enthusiasm and panache and offer an excellent level of Wellness treatments.
