A single story Moorish style villa set in large grassed plot (which includes a swing and play area for children) shaded by umbrella pines and palm trees, very close to the golf course. There is a free form pool and plenty of parking space. A large leafy shaded terrace overlooks the pool with built-in barbecue nearby (the pool can be heated at extra cost).
Inside, around a central glass hollow area there is a circular TV room, a hanging bell shaped chimney over a working fireplace between the TV room and the large living room. A dining room has a fully equipped kitchen adjacent. There are four bedrooms on this floor, two doubles and two twins, two with en-suite bathrooms the other two sharing a full bathroom (with large corner bath). Air conditioning is provided in three of these bedrooms (available at extra cost). There is a separate sauna for guests ’use (at extra cost). In the basement area there is a large open room and a twin bedded room with en-suite bathroom. There is also a large roof terrace.
Our Opinion
A delightful, secluded villa in a large plot in a residential area of Vilamoura. The furnishings are full of character and the flooring outside the bedrooms is stripped hardwood. Moorish brick vaulted ceilings are featured here and there. The very high quality of furnishings and very characterful ambience makes this a very desirable villa. Air conditioning in some bedrooms, a sauna and pool heating –albeit at extra cost – is a bonus. It has a very pretty interior garden.
