L637 Quinta Casa     Near Praia das Maçãs and Sintra

Situated at the end of a rough road in the midst of tall pine trees this villa is in a very substantial plot with a big rectangular pool and large grassed areas and much more covered with pine needles. Designed by a Swedish architect, the building blends well with the pine surroundings. Inside there is a vast living/dining/kitchen area from which leads a staircase to a mezzanine floor. Here there is a relaxing area with sofas and a TV and a master bedroom with double bed and en suite bathroom; the whole has a tall vaulted ceiling. On the ground floor there is a twin bedded room, a children’s room with four bunk beds, a further twin room,a full bathroom and a shower room. Furnishings and decorations are modern and colourful. 

Our Opinion
A very nice, quiet, relaxed house just a short distance from the beach and from Sintra. We like the design of the house and the large shady grounds. It is an ideal venue for family with small children (beware of them falling off the mezanine floor!) It is close to Casa de Juncal (should there be two families wishing to stay nearby each other).
