L649 Quinta da Periquita Near Azeitão
This villa is situated in a hamlet near the village of Azeitão, set at the top of a hill looking down over the valley to the Arrabida Mountains.
Outside the villa is a small well tended grass area with a small oval pool and a large covered terrace to give shelter in the height of summer and a further area of open terrace all with magnificent views. There is a built in barbecue at one end of the terrace.
On the ground floor there is a very large living/dining room with a fully equipped kitchen at one end. There is a working fireplace and a wood burning stove and a TV at one end of the living room.
On the first floor there is a double with en-suite shower room and 2 twin rooms sharing a large shower room.
On the second floor there is a double with a full bathroom adjoining. There is also a large sitting room at this level with windows overlooking the mountains.

Opinion
Not a new house, but one which is very welcoming with a most comfortable, and spacious living/dining area, leading on to the covered terrace, the views from which are outstanding. It is very quiet yet the village of Azeitão with the winery of Fonseca has several restaurants (one, highly recommended is Restaurant Jose Maria), bars etc. Furnishings are comfortable rather than grand. It is altogether a very pleasant Villa in which to stay.
