Situated
on the main road into Sesimbra, Quinta das Flores has a rectangular garden
one side of which is along the road and an enormous swimming pool set
amongst mature trees. Inside the fully equipped kitchen has a small
breakfast area and separate larder. A circular staircase leads to the
first floor where there is a double with ensuite full bathroom, two single
rooms, a twin and a large double room sharing two full bathrooms. One end
of the downstairs is devoted to a very large living room with two separate
sitting areas and doors leading onto the garden and the pool. The dining
area seats ten.
Our
Opinion
A very characterful house furnished in what can only be described as an
eccentric fashion (exotic, ethnic and classic combined with some Moroccan
influence) but very comfortable and intriguing. The proximity to the road
is balanced by the accessibility of shops, restaurants etc. The centre of
Sesimbra is only a couple of Kms away. The pool and garden are delightful,
a most unusual property.
