This
three bedroomed villa, situated in a residential area near Sitio, the
upper part of Nazare. It has a large paved area shaded by umbrellas and a
gazebo between the house and the pool together with a built-in barbecue
and a hammock on a frame. Sliding doors from the living room which has a
fireplace, lead to a front garden next to the road. The small but fully
equipped kitchen is adjacent to the dining room which leads out on to the
patio area. There is a double and a twin sharing a full bathroom and a
master double which has a disguised door leading to a full en-suite
bathroom. From the living room a secret door in the bookcase leads down a
winding staircase to a cellar room complete with two single beds, a bar in
the corner and a working fireplace. The sofa in the living room can also
be used as an occasional single bed. Outside a garage is available for the
use of clients together with a washing machine and a fridge for the pool.
Behind the swimming pool is a large area of sand (artificial beach) with
swings and slides.
Our
Opinion
An unusual house in many senses,
not least the hidden cellar and the artificial beach. Suffering slightly
from noise from the nearby main road, it is nevertheless a very homely and
comfortably furnished villa with an excellent pool and plenty of space for
outside eating and relaxing. Being in a growing residential area there has
been building works relatively nearby from time to time over the last few
years. This may continue.
