This most tasteful conversion of a period farm building is on one floor with the main living areas separating two bedrooms on the one side and two bedrooms on the other. Of particular interest is the original kitchen area complete with black range, fireplace and bread oven from which the living/dining area is separated by curtains. The living room leads out through french windows to a small covered terrace adjacent to the grass surrounded swimming pool. Above the living room is a small mezzanine gallery with table and chairs. The plot is large with ample parking space and a rustic garden below the swimming pool area. At the extreme rear of the property is a aviary of domestic birds and animals which are fed by the maid. Within easy walking distance (1Km) in one direction (even easier biking distance with the three bicycles provided) is a river on which boats and canoes are available for rent. In the other direction a slightly longer walk brings one to the local village where there are a couple of bars and some very basic restaurants.

Our Opinion
Very well located fairly close to Braga, Ponte da Lima, Villa Verde etc., this very nice single story property offers extremely peaceful surroundings and a comfortable ambience. The bedroom layout would suite two families admirably. 
There is a discount for under occupancy, and extra maid service is readily available at a modest cost.
