Approached through electric gates, this is an original stone house with a traditional vaulted timber ceiling to which modern additions have been made. On the left of the main entrance is a double-bedded room with en-suite bathroom and with access to a covered balcony. Off the main sitting room is a further sitting room with plate glass windows overlooking the pool and the valley. Downstairs there is a further living/dining room, a shower room and a full kitchen with access to a courtyard. Both sitting rooms feature large televisions. From the sun room there is a corridor off which there are three bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms all leading onto a common terrace with steps down to the pool. All three bedrooms are twin bedded. At the end of the corridor there is a covered terrace overlooking the pool with a large grassed area on the other side of which is a very sophisticated barbeque complete with bread oven, gas ring, fridge sink etc, adjoining which is a covered terrace giving some shade. There are a further two bedrooms in an annex which offers a double and twin both with en-suite bathrooms and both with traditional timber boarded ceilings.

Our Opinion
A unique combination of traditional building with modern additions, the bathrooms and fittings thereof are of the highest quality and the furnishings are most attractive. The villa is only about forty minutes from the sea. The reception rooms have somewhat minimalist but very comfortable modern furnishings. It even features a working wind-up gramophone!
