opinion Not exactly characterful, this large house can accommodate a big party in large airy comfortable and air conditioned bedrooms. There are stunning views from bedrooms and the pool area down vine covered hillsides towards to river valley, in fact Casal de Loivos is one of the most well known and photographed lookout points in Douro Valley. A great property for the larger party and particularly good value for money. |

opinion Very simple accommodation offering excellent value for money in a quiet location but within a few minutes drive of the lively and unspoilt town of Lagos, it ’s Marina and a little further away the huge beach of Meia Praia. There are three small re s t a u r a n t s i n P o r t e l a s w i t h i n walking distance and the whole complex is ideal for individuals or a larger group who wish to be semi independent. |

opinion These two apartments with a shared pool give an opportunity for the larger family or group of friends to share the benefits of the pool and the proximity to the centre of the village whilst also giving privacy to 6 of the 12 possible occupants. The living rooms also have a sofa bed for a 7th person in each apartment. The property is unusual because it ’s proximity to the beach and the village centre makes it unnecessary to have car rental. |

opinion A nice 3 bedroomed villa which is not far from the main road and as a result suffers a little from traffic noise in the front of the building, but of course much less at the back where the pool is situated. The rooms cannot be described as large, but are nicely furnished and very adequate. We liked the roof terrace. |

opinion A delightful, secluded villa in a large plot in a residential area of Vilamoura. Moorish brick vaulted ceilings are featured here and there. The very high quality of furnishings and very characterful ambience makes this a very desirable villa. It has a very pretty interior garden. |
